At the heart of everything we do are people. We’re a unique blend of young talent and global digital-industry veterans, and we're currently in search of a skilled Mid-Level / Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team and embrace the following responsibilities:

  1. Architect, design, and develop efficient, scalable and reliable backend systems
  2. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop excellent user experiences
  4. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  5. Manage and operate the solutions you develop, ensuring they perform optimally in production
  6. Support and mentor other team members
  7. Continuously discover, evaluate, and adopt new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

  1. Strong communication and collaboration skills
  2. Excellent problem-solving and learning ability
  3. Self-drive and a proactive mindset
  4. 2+ years of industry experience in software development
  5. Strong skills in Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript), or other server-side technologies
  6. Strong background in non-relational database systems, such as MongoDB or Redis
  7. Testing mindset and an eye for clean code
  8. Experience in designing REST APIs
  9. Experience with task planning and effort estimation
  10. Understanding of security principles and how they apply to backend systems
  11. Strong background in Computer Science
  12. A passion for great UX
  13. Proven literacy in English
  14. Military obligations must be fulfilled (if applicable)
  15. Bonus: Experience with cloud-hosting platforms, such as Heroku or AWS
  16. Bonus: Experience in leading small to medium-sized teams
  17. Bonus: Experience with performance monitoring tools, such as New Relic
  18. Bonus: Strong background in relational databases and SQL
